(Los Angeles) The alleged murderer of pro-Trump influencer Charlie Kirk appeared virtually before the courts on Monday, during a preliminary hearing where the judge and his defense agreed to fix his next appearance on October 30.
Tyler Robinson, 22, risks the death penalty for murdering the Trumpist youth rack on September 10, during an outdoor debate on an Utah university campus.
This murder, which he justified by the “hatred” conveyed according to him by the influencer, aggravated political fractures in the United States, where the right brandished Mr. Kirk as a “martyr” of freedom of expression.
Tyler Robinson was not visible on Monday and did not speak. He followed the hearing from the prison where he is incarcerated, with a simple audio connection.
The judge responsible for the case, Tony Graf, wanted Mr. Robinson to be present “in person” during the next appearance, who will have to determine if there are enough elements incriminating for a trial. A request approved by his lawyer committed automatically, Kathryn Nester.
She explained to need time to examine the “massive quantities of digital data” which will be paid to the file.
Young lonely drift, or recently radicalized militant? Tyler Robinson’s journey, ex-brilliant student raised by republican and Mormon parents, who had a relationship with a transgender person, promises to be carefully dissected in the United States.

Because Charlie Kirk was a pillar of the American right. With its youth association Turning Point USA and its millions of subscribers on social networks, it was a major ally to help Donald Trump to win back the White House.
This 31 -year -old nationalist Christian, who largely contributed to disinformation about the 2020 presidential election and arose as a fierce defender of the traditional family, had many adversaries accusing him of homophobia or racism.
Since his death, Donald Trump has portrayed the left as the sole responsible for political violence in the United States. He declared the “anti -fes” movement as “terrorist organization” and his administration promises to punish the organizations that would finance these groups.
These speeches targeting the “radical left” make fear of broader retaliatory measures.
In the public and private sector, dozens of Americans have lost their jobs in recent weeks for criticizing Charlie Kirk. Comedian Jimmy Kimmel, who accused the right of politically exploiting his death, was briefly suspended after pressures from the American audiovisual gendarme.
