(Washington) The United States announced on Wednesday to take new sanctions targeting two French and Canadian judges, as well as two prosecutors, of the International Criminal Court (ICC), which has become the bane of the Trump administration.
“Today, I designate Kimberly Prost of Canada, Nicolas Guillou of France, Nazhat Shameem Khan of Fiji and Mame Mandiaye Niang from Senegal”, for having “directly participated in the efforts made by the ICC to investigate, stop, hold or pursue nationals of the United States or Israel, without the consent of one or the other of these countries,” said the secretary American state, Marco Rubio, in a press release.
Other details to come.
