(Washington) Donald Trump went to the offensive on Wednesday by attacking Republicans’ idiots who question the management by his government of the Epstein file, named after this dead American financier before being tried for sexual exploitation of minors.

The American president has raised the tone after several days of an increasing controversy, born from a recent report of his administration on the Epstein case. Part of his partisan base criticizes him for lacking transparency.

“All of this is a vast fumistry, it is orchestrated by the Democrats. And some stupid Republicans and idiots fall into the panel and play the game of democrats, “he attacked when he was asked about the Epstein affair in the oval office, where he received the Crown Prince of Bahrain on Wednesday.

Donald Trump faces the most serious division in his base of faithful supporters since his return to the White House in January, against a backdrop of suspicion that his administration covers elements of Jeffrey Epstein’s file to protect rich and powerful personalities.

The death of the American financier, found hanged in his cell in New York in 2019 – during Donald Trump’s first mandate – before being tried, fueled a number of undelicated theories that he was assassinated to prevent revelations involving leading personalities, agitated in particular by a fringe of the American right.

“Mauvietes”

Figures close to the “Make America Great Again” movement by Donald Trump has been campaigning for years for the publication of an supposed list of the customers of Jeffrey Epstein and claim that he was murdered in his cell.

These Trumpists hoped for answers to their questions with the return to power of the New York-Son Administration billionaire had committed to “lifting the veil” on this “repugnant” affair.

But ten days ago, in a common report, the Department of Justice and the FBI established that there was no evidence of the existence of such a list or blackmail towards certain personalities. They also dismissed the thesis of the assassination in Jeffrey Epstein prison and confirmed his suicide. They finally indicated, given these elements, that they would not communicate additional information on the survey.

Ads that have led to a surge of furious messages coming from “Maga” accounts on social networks.

To the Republicans who question the line of the White House, Donald Trump launched Wednesday morning that they were “former supporters who swallowed everything to these bullshit” on his Truth Social platform.

“Let these mauvies play the game of democrats (…) because I don’t want their support anymore!” “, He cracked.

“Lost faith”

“They are stupid,” said the republican billionaire at midday from the oval office of the White House.

Then he diverted the conversation by embarking on an enumeration of what he considers his economic and diplomatic successes, and complained that instead, people “speak of a guy who obviously had very serious problems and who died three or four years ago”.

Does he disavow those he calls “former” supporters? “No, but I have greatly lost faith in some people,” replied the American president.

Before his second election, Donald Trump – one of the many celebrities who have been friends with Epstein, but who denies having surrendered to his Caribbean residence of the Virgin Islands – had assured that he would have “no problem” that his file was published.

He repeated on Wednesday that his Minister of Justice Pam Bondi could make it public “all that is credible”.

Beyond the rumble among its partisan base, the management of the Epstein case opened a breach in the Trump administration, with the strong tensions between Pam Bondi and the deputy director of the FBI Dan Bongino, who would plan to resign.
