However, the situation was “controlled” in the evening, the elected Californian Democrat Nanette Barragan on CNN on Sunday, reporting remarks of the local sheriff.

While condemning violence, she insisted on the need to let the inhabitants demonstrate their anger at the migration policy of the Republican president and worried that the deployment of the National Guard aggravates the situation.
