The World Bank said it had received money from Qatar and Saudi Arabia to settle the debts of Syria of 15.5 billion dollars, which qualifies Damascus to receive grants for reconstruction and support the budget.

The bank pointed out that Syria is on the path of recovery and development after years of conflict and that it will work with other countries to help mobilize public and private financing, and warned that his first project with Syria will focus on providing electricity.
