The American billionaire experience, Elon Musk, has ended in Washington as it started in an unconventional way, but this time silently and frustrated.
After 3 months of the leadership of the Ministry of Governmental competence – which was founded by US President Donald Trump in his second term – Musk is preparing to leave the political scene after his campaign failed to fight government waste in achieving the promised savings, which was expected to reach – according to his speeches – a trillion dollars.
According to a report published by the Financial Times, the outcome of Musk was negative, not only at the level of his government performance, but also at the level of his performance in his giant company for the “Tesla” electric car industry, which was negatively affected by the financial and reputation level Federal bureaucracy.
Limited impact and widespread damage
Despite the austerity campaign, the “Musk” wealth decreased by about 130 billion dollars since Trump’s inauguration in his second term, at a time when US government agencies – from intelligence to education – were subjected to administrative tremors that affected the morale of its workers without real savings.
The newspaper notes that the American judiciary resisted some of the government’s ministry’s measures, but it did not come out safely, as the experiment left a wounded bureaucratic device and a confused executive environment, and despite attempts to promote these results as a “victory over the deep state”, the political and economic cost remained exorbitant.
Trump’s golden dome
On the other hand, one of the fruits of this experiment may appear later through the new “Golden Dome”, which seeks to simulate the Israeli Iron Dome on a wide American scale.
If implemented, the project will be one of the largest defensive outputs in American history, and it may compete with the cost of the NASA project, which amounted to 280 billion dollars at the current value.
The company “SpaceX”, which is owned by the main partner mask in the project, along with the Baltayr and Andrill, may open the door to transferring a large part of the taxpayer money to his technological empire.
But the question remains: Is strengthening national security the goal? Or the redistribution of government contracts without competition?
Strikes outside Washington
The damage to the American capital’s domain mask exceeded the reputation of Tesla, as his extremist positions on the X -owned platform caused his widespread boycott in Europe and the United States.
In one of the most prominent satirical campaigns in London, an advertising campaign that likened Tesla cars with Nazi symbols was launched under the slogan “From Zero to 1939 in 3 seconds”, in a direct hint to support the extremist right speeches mask.
In an unbalanced response, Bam Bondi, the former public prosecutor in the Trump administration, described the acts of sabotaging the Tesla showrooms as “terrorism”, in a move that the report considered as an expression of the failure of Musk in realizing the size of his propaganda crisis.
Defeat in Wisconsin and the walls of the receipts
Musk’s ambitions received a painful blow when he failed to weight a conservative candidate for the Supreme Court in Wisconsin, despite his spending 22 million dollars in the most expensive judicial race in the history of the United States, which kept the dominance of the liberal majority in the court.
As for his project to reveal government corruption through what was called the “receipt wall”, he did not receive a little enthusiasm from the judiciary or the Republican Congress, in an indication that the American regime still has a degree of institutional immunity.
Fad farewell and the end of an experiment
In his last appearance inside the White House, Mask sat in one of the corners of the government meeting.
In a farewell interview via the Fox channel with Lara Trump, Mask seemed influenced by what he described as “the public’s misunderstanding of him,” noting that some “misunderstood the greeting he made as a Nazi greeting”, and said, “They are trying to question everything I do.”
The report concluded with a satirical analysis of the artificial intelligence platform for the “Grock” mask, which described his experience in Washington as “a Doug experience that resulted in executive disturbances, legal complications and limited results that were overwhelmed by significant losses closer to a warning to an achievement.”
Despite everything he spent and sought to achieve it, Musk came out of Washington with political, financial and personal wounds, leaving behind him with confused administration, burdened institutions and a car company that lost its global luster, and the clearer lesson: may not suffice technological intelligence to dismantle the state.
