He added that he was selling a kilo of dates in the last Ramadan at 15 shekels (about 3 and a half dollars) with good profit, while this year he sells it for 40 shekels (about $ 11) while the profit margin is very small.

For his part, Mahdi Abu Asb, the owner of the “Abu Asbat refreshment” store, says that the high prices are focused on meat and cheese, calling for the reconstruction of the Al -Aqsa Mosque and the revival of the Old City.
As for Alaa Al -Natsheh, who is the owner of the “Al -Natsheh Poultry” store, it is that the prices of poultry increased from 17 shekels (about 4.2 dollars) per kilogram – before days – to 23 shekels today (about 6.4 dollars).
The Palestinian merchant said that “the economic situation is difficult and the turnout is weak,” referring to the taxes and prosecutions of the Israeli occupation army.
