Half of US Citizens Believe Donald Trump is a Fascist, Poll Reveals ABC News/IPSOS.

49% of the US population would consider the Republican candidate to be a “political extremist who aims to act like a dictator by violating individual rights and using force against his opponents”, as the description of “fascist” mentioned in the survey.
By comparison, only 22% of Americans believe Kamala Harris is a fascist.
5% of respondents are of the opinion that both candidates deserve such a label, while 32% are of the opinion that neither is fascist.
When we separate voters according to their allegiance, Donald Trump is seen as a fascist by 87% of pro-democrats. In comparison, 41% of pro-Republicans attach such a label to Kamala Harris.
Country in crisis?
Nonetheless, the two presidential hopefuls are nearly tied when voters are asked whether they believe the country will be in crisis if either Trump or Harris is elected.
Among people who are not supporters of any of the candidates, 68% anticipate a crisis situation if Donald Trump is elected, while 64% envisage such a scenario in the event of the election of Kamala Harris.
Trump more of a liar, Harris more of an electoralist
In terms of his relationship with the truth, Donald Trump is more poorly perceived by the population than his rival. 65% of Americans agree that Republican candidates often fail to tell the truth. 49% of people have the same opinion about Kamala Harris.
In return, 57% of Americans consider that the Democratic candidate makes promises and proposals strictly to obtain more votes. 52% have this opinion in relation to Donald Trump.
The survey was conducted online between October 18 and 22 among 2,808 American adults, including 2,392 registered voters.
