A 66-year-old passenger is being sought after she fell from a Royal Caribbean cruise ship Tuesday evening during a Taylor Swift-themed event in the Bahamas.
The woman fell from the Allure of the Seas boat around 9:40 p.m. Tuesday while it was 27 km north of Nassau, Bahamas, the United States Coast Guard said in a statement Tuesday.
Hundreds of fans of singer Taylor Swift left Miami on Monday aboard the Allure of the Seas to participate in the “In my cruise era” event.
Videos posted on TikTok show passengers on the boat looking towards the water after the 66-year-old woman fell.
Teams from the Royal Bahamas Defense Force, the US Coast Guard, as well as a plane and helicopter crew from Miami Air Force Base, were still involved in the search for the woman on Wednesday, according to the New YorkPost.
