The Boeing group has sent a “final offer” to the International Union of Machinists (IAM), including a 30% wage increase over four years, and setting a deadline of September 27 for ratification by union members, it indicated in a press release on Monday.

More than 33,000 workers at the American aircraft manufacturer in the Seattle area (northwest) have been on strike since September 13, as part of the negotiation of their new collective agreement. A preliminary agreement was rejected on September 12 by nearly 95%.
