A few hours before the presidential debate, Melania Trump made a notable statement on her social networks on Tuesday to demand answers regarding the assassination attempt on her husband that occurred on July 13 during a Republican rally in Pennsylvania.
“The attempt to end my husband’s life was a horrible and painful experience. Today, the silence that surrounds him weighs on me,” the former first lady said in a video shared on her social networks.
The latter said she still wonders why the authorities did not locate and arrest the shooter before he committed the act.
“There is certainly more to this story and we need to find out the truth,” Donald Trump’s wife added in a serious tone and dramatic background music.
Let us recall that the day after the events, Melania Trump shared a statement in which she expressed gratitude for the work of the police “who risked their lives to protect (her) husband.”
“When I saw that violent bullet strike my husband, Donald, I realized that my life and Barron’s life were about to undergo a devastating change,” she said at the time.
It should be noted that many agencies are still investigating to understand how the shooter was able to escape their vigilance.
