Two Michigan newlyweds are accused of killing their best man on their wedding day, Aug. 30.

James Douglas Shirah, 22, and his wife, Savanah Nicole Collier, 21, were celebrating their wedding at a pizza restaurant in Flint when Terry Lewis Taylor was found with serious injuries, the New York Post.
“After the wedding, Terry Lewis Taylor was involved in an argument that resulted in him being intentionally struck by a large, speeding SUV driven by the groom,” Flint police said.
The 29-year-old victim died in hospital.
James Douglas Shirah was charged with second-degree murder and his wife was charged with aiding and abetting.
The victim’s fiancée created a crowdfunding campaign on the GoFundMe platform to pay for the funeral.
“My fiancé was murdered on August 30, 2024,” Nikki Robinson wrote. “He was only 29 years old. He leaves behind three children and I am pregnant. We want to give him the burial he deserves. He was an amazing person.”
By Sunday, the day before the funeral, she had raised $2,950, against the goal of $5,000.
