In the video, two men can be seen riding their bikes in the right lane of a road, before a white SUV approaches and violently hits them from behind.
Undisturbed by the collision, the driver of the vehicle then deliberately drove over one of the two cyclists resting on the ground and fled without stopping.
THE New York Post reports that, according to a witness who witnessed the scene, other drivers started chasing the dangerous driver and thus contributed to his arrest.
βThe cyclists who were hit should be OK, thank God,β this witness also indicated in a now private tweet.
The Forth Worth Police Department has still not released a statement regarding the incident.
The state of health of the two men on the bike and the status of the driver of the SUV are therefore not confirmed.
