The social network X (formerly Twitter) will broadcast live interviews with Donald Trump and independent candidate Robert Kennedy Jr on its platform, as part of an exclusive event jointly organized with the news channel NewsNation.

These two events will take the form of a filmed interview during which moderators will relay questions from X users to the guest, said a spokesperson for the social network. The dates and identity of the moderators have not yet been revealed.

The billionaire has met Donald Trump several times and, according to the Wall Street Journaldiscussed with the former head of state a possible role of advisor to the presidency in the event of the election of the real estate developer.
Elon Musk, on the other hand, very regularly criticizes American President Joe Biden, particularly regarding his migration policy.
According to Wall Street JournalX and NewsNation wanted to organize a debate between presidential candidates and had also invited Joe Biden, but the latter declined.
Two debates between the current and former heads of state have already been scheduled, the first on CNN on June 27 and the second on September 10 on ABC.
