Two Americans from Missouri on vacation in Florida, who really wanted to visit the Disney World theme parks, were instead forced to explore the local prison after fighting tooth and nail over a golf cart and tickets affair.
It was with scratch marks visible on her neck, but with a low gaze, that Katherine Northrup, 31, posed for her mugshot mugshot last week, after fighting until she bled with Gina Danforth, 28, Fox News reported Monday.
Indeed, on May 6, the two women were accused of getting into a violent fight after a disagreement over a “golf cart and Disney World tickets,” according to arrest documents from the California Police Department. Wildwood, obtained by the American media, just like the mugshots.
That day, the police were called to a home to physically separate the two women, after an altercation escalated.
According to their versions of the facts, the tone would have risen to the point where Gina Danforth would have spat in the face of the thirty-year-old, who would have retorted by grabbing her attacker by the hair to throw her to the ground. That’s when the women allegedly exchanged punches.
However, despite the presence of several people on the scene, the police were not able to determine which of the two women was at the origin of the conflict, “due to the lack of credible witnesses,” noted Fox News.
They were both arrested and charged with assault and battery, before being released on bail of US$1,000 each.
