Meta Platforms (+0.93% to 472.6) said it would expand its suite of generative AI advertising products to offer tools that can automatically create variations of images and overlay text on them.

Western Petroleum (-2.12% to 63.69) reported a profit above consensus as the oil and gas company benefited from higher oil production.

An airplane built by Boeing (+2.05% to 180.34) landed without using its landing gear before Wednesday at Istanbul airport, Turkey’s Transport Ministry said.

The transport company Lyft (+7.11% to 17.78) expects higher-than-expected gross bookings and operating profit for the current quarter, driven by robust demand for its services.

Uber slipped 5.68% to 66.43 after disappointing expectations on its bookings in 1er quarter and its reservation forecasts for the 2ndth quarter.

Reddit (+3.85% to 51.3) reported quarterly revenue above consensus, thanks to strong growth in the number of users and an increase in the advertising market.

THE Dow Jones thus lost 0.18% to 39,056.39 points, the Nasdaq Composite 0.01% to 16,302.76 points and the S&P 500 finished stable at 5,187.67 points.
