Siamese sisters Abby and Brittany Hensel, who became famous thanks to a reality show produced by TLC, are back in the public eye!
Abby, the left lead of the duo, got married to Josh Bowling, a nurse and US Army veteran. The couple, who live in Minnesota, made their union official in 2021.
Abby and Brittany, 34, have lived out of the spotlight since their 8-episode series aired in 2012. According to the show Todaywho obtained the marriage documents, the sisters are both fifth-grade teachers.
Abby and Josh kept their union a secret until 2023, when they shared photos from the ceremony on their TikTok account. A video captured by one of the guests was also found on Facebook. The 20-second clip shows the couple dancing and kissing. The groom stares at his wife while Brittany provides support.
The sisters gained notoriety by participating in Oprah Winfrey Show in 1996 to talk about their life as Siamese twins.
Brittany and Abby share the same body. Abby controls the right arm and leg, while Brittany controls the left side.
Despite all the medical complications related to their condition, the Hensel sisters were able to obtain their driver’s licenses, earn a diploma, and travel to Europe.
