Four people, including a teenage girl, were killed and at least five injured after a man stabbed him at different locations in Rockford, Illinois, US police said.
A 22-year-old suspect was taken into custody following these attacks which took place on Wednesday, police in the city located about 150 km northwest of Chicago said in a statement.
The press release does not mention any possible motive.
Among those killed were a 15-year-old girl, a 63-year-old woman and two men aged 49 and 22, according to police.
