Three people were killed following gunfire in a residential neighborhood in suburban Philadelphia. The suspect was on the run after committing a car theft, local media and police said.
On its Facebook page, Middletown Township police confirmed “shots fired in Falls Township” which caused “several victims.”
The Falls Township police and the governor of the state of Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro, each called on the population of this northern suburb of Philadelphia to stay at home.

According to local media, citing police sources, the suspect, a 26-year-old man, who was traveling in a stolen vehicle, killed two people near a residence in the municipality of Levittown located in Falls Township, north of Philadelphia.
He then killed a third person in a residence.
The individual fled after stealing a car to steal another, which the police gave a description of.
The suspect then barricaded himself inside a residence surrounded by authorities.
