A family judge who was taking her time ruling on a child custody case was forced to drop the case after approaching the complainant on a swingers website.
“I have been fighting for two years for the custody of my children,” thundered Sidney Southerland who regularly complained that his case was dragging on, accusing judge Cynthia Lopez, according to what the “New York Post” reported.
A simple child custody case took an unexpected turn when the 47-year-old judge came into contact with a certain Chyna, pseudonym of Ms. Southerland on the swingers site 3Fun.
On this swingers platform, Judge Lopez presents herself in her profile as “a bisexual woman, looking for fun, hot and sexy times with couples and single women”.
The mother from New York was stunned when she received the explicit message from the judge whom she now accuses of having deliberately delayed the study of her case “because of a sexual attraction”.
Judge Cynthia Lopez, appointed to decide the family dispute over child custody, had to relinquish the court case after the outcry caused by her messages on 3Fun to Sidney Southerland, who plans to file a complaint against the magistrate.
The legal battle of this nine-times married woman dates back to February 2022 when police officers removed her two children aged 2 and 7 at the time, the New York tabloid also recalled.
