The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip said – in a statement – today, Friday, that the number of martyrs reached 26,83 Palestinians, while 64,487 were injured, as a result of Israeli raids on the Strip since last October 7.

The ministry added that the Israeli occupation committed 19 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the death of about 183 Palestinians and the injury of 377 others during the past 24 hours.

Manhattan Tribune’s correspondent reported that at least 70 Palestinians were martyred in Israeli bombing on the cities of Rafah and Khan Yunis during the past 24 hours. The Israeli army also blew up facilities and homes west of the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

11 people were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house west of the Nuseirat camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip. Among the martyrs was journalist Iyad Al-Rawag, broadcaster in Voice of Al-Aqsa, and a number of his family members.

Earlier, an Manhattan Tribune correspondent reported that 20 were killed and at least about 150 injured in an Israeli bombing of citizens while they were waiting to receive aid at the Kuwait Roundabout in Gaza City. A large number of wounded and martyrs were transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital.

For the fifth day in a row, the Palestinian Red Crescent said that the occupation forces continued to target Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Yunis, and added – in a statement – that the occupation forces impose a complete curfew in the vicinity of Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Yunis, and that the occupation forces prevent the movement of ambulance crews to and from the hospital.

For its part, the Israeli army said that Air Force fighter planes carried out a wide attack sortie targeting dozens of targets, including operational apartments, weapons warehouses, reconnaissance sites and militant gathering points in the Khan Yunis area.

He pointed out that the soldiers used aircraft to attack Palestinian militants during battles that took place in the region, according to the occupation army.

On the other hand, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades announced the targeting of an Israeli force holed up in a house west of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

The Phalange, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said that it targeted the aforementioned force with an anti-personnel missile, killing and wounding its members.

A city unfit for life

On the other hand, the United Nations Human Rights Office said that the cold, rainy weather in Gaza makes it completely uninhabitable for life as the Israeli aggression continues.

Earlier today, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said that the crowded streets in the Gaza Strip are witnessing an alarming and deadly spread of diseases and malnutrition.

Since last October 7, the Israeli army has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, which has left tens of thousands of victims, most of them children and women, according to the Palestinian authorities, and caused massive destruction and an unprecedented humanitarian disaster, according to the United Nations.
