Costco defended itself on Thursday from having sold the 1,000 bottles found in the luxurious residence of American rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs during searches which preceded his arrest last week.

Asked by TMZ why such a large quantity of baby oil was in the house, P. Diddy’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, insinuated that it could have been purchased at Costco.

“He has a big house. He buys in bulk. I think there are Costcos in all the places where he has a residence,” the lawyer replied in the interview with TMZ.

A Costco spokesperson confirmed to the American site that none of its American warehouses sell baby oil.

A quick search by the TMZ team on the Costco website found that no baby oil is sold by the company.

Arrested on September 16 in New York, Puff Daddy was accused of sex trafficking and extortion.

Searches carried out in March at the rapper’s Miami and Los Angeles residences allowed authorities to seize, in addition to 1,000 bottles of baby oil, lubricant, drugs and three AR-15 rifles, according to the indictment. of accusation.
